NORTH INDIAN AYURVEDIC MASSAGE
Regular massage rejuvinates the body, maintains the suppleness of soft tissues, eases the joints, increases the flow of blood to the muscles and thereby maintains the body's energy at an optimal level.
Ayurvedic massage is an ancient method which works at a deep level. The technique involves tracking the nerves, muscles, vertebrae and bones to align the musculo-skeletal structure and help blood circulation. Through manipulation, stretching and pressure, muscles, ligaments and tendons are eased of their tensions. Once awakened, accumulated stress is released and leaves in its place a feeling of lightness and well-being at the end of the session.
The ayurvedic method works both on the structural and muscular levels. Imbalances in these areas can cause multiple problems and affect posture. Ayurvedic massage goes beyond ordinary massage and physical therapy in that it restructures the body. Specific movements may be selected in addition to manipulation to attain the desired objectives.
