Yoga is an ancient science of anatomy. Understanding physical anatomy and concentration in movement (postures) bring awareness to the practice. The goal of Yoga is not only to develop the body but also the mind, its vision and clarity.
Yoga should be done with the mind of Yoga. When a posture is performed, the mind should learn the movement and teach it to the sub-conscious to perform it in every day life. In this way, each posture has a significant effect within a short period of time.
Whereas Yoga postures develop strength, flexibility and longevity, pranayama, breathing exercises, develop the mind by balancing the interior and the exterior. The various breathing techniques help to open the channels of the brain for creative intelligence.

Agni Yoga is a particular discipline based on the knowledge
of the solar plexus and its central function in
supporting life. Agni means fire in
Sanskrit. The solar plexus controls our inner
fire. This fire or heat in our body is life. It
keeps our immune shield strong and prevents
disease. We practice Agni Yoga to strengthen the
heat which supports the immune shield. We
balance the fire to stay healthy and well.
Agni Yoga can
be practiced by adults of all ages. Central to
the practice are precise movements performed on
a low wooden board, stretching muscles,
ligaments and tendons. The exercises focus on
extending the spine and strengthening the
pelvic. The teacher ensures that the student
understands the right movements while performing
each posture.
